Taoist Healing Arts:

Chi Nei Tsang® I & Tok Sen – Chi Nei Tsang® III

Certified International Program – possibility to obtain an international Universal Healing Tao® practitioner license

The workshop will be held in English and Croatian

The body speaks.

And the body remembers.

Every stress, shock, prolonged tension, overload, or traumatic experience can become stored in the body: in the abdominal center, breathing, muscle tone, posture, movement patterns, quality of relationship with oneself, and the way a person experiences themselves and the world around them.

Today, many people no longer live with a sense of inner safety, flow, and connection to their bodies, but instead in chronic tension, inner pressure, and a constant state of bodily alertness.

This often appears as:

  • a tense abdomen
  • shallow breathing
  • fatigue
  • inner restlessness
  • hypervigilance and the feeling that the body no longer knows how to relax
  • a sense of disconnection from the body
  • sleep problems
  • digestive issues
  • hormonal imbalance
  • or the feeling of losing inner connection with oneself.

The body speaks even when words no longer can.

Chi Nei Tsang® and Tok Sen are two exceptional somatic methods which, through touch, rhythm, breath, vibration, and presence, support:

  • the release of chronic tension
  • a greater sense of inner stabilit
  • better connection with the body
  • calming of bodily stress responses
  • and the gradual return of the body to a state of greater flow, vitality, and connection

This program is not focused only on technique. This is a process of listening to the body.

Ancient Roots of Chi Nei Tsang® and Tok Sen

These methods are based on preserved elements of ancient therapeutic practices from China and Thailand, which Taoist Master Mantak Chia developed over decades of research, study, and integration of various traditions into a modern healing arts system — Chi Nei Tsang®.

Chi Nei Tsang® is a protected method with a registered ® trademark and part of the Universal Healing Tao system.

This system combines:

  • Taoist approaches
  • TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine)
  • Work with the energies of the internal organs
  • Breathwork
  • Traditional Eastern views on vitality
  • Somatic understanding of the body
  • And vibrational and manual techniques such as Tok Sen.

Tok Sen is based on the nearly forgotten traditional Tok Sen practice from Northern Thailand, which Taoist Master Mantak Chia expanded primarily toward abdominal work and the energies of the internal organs, fully integrating it into Chi Nei Tsang® Healing Harmony.

Traditional Tok Sen originally focused mainly on the musculoskeletal system, tendons, joints, and energetic pathways of the body, while within the Chi Nei Tsang® system it received an entirely new dimension.

In Chi Nei Tsang® Healing Harmony, vibration, rhythm, touch, and sound also enter the abdominal center, an area Taoism understands as the center of vitality, emotional regulation, breath, and inner life energy.

In this way, Tok Sen supports:

  • Softening of the abdominal armor,
  • Better energy flow
  • Release of the diaphragm
  • Deeper breathing
  • Greater connection with the body
  • And the gradual restoration of a sense of inner flow, vitality, and presence

The Abdomen – Our “Second Brain”

In Taoist tradition, the abdomen has for thousands of years been considered the center of life, intuition, vitality, and inner intelligence.

Today, modern science increasingly confirms the connection between the gut, brain, hormonal system, emotions, and bodily reactions.

That is why the abdomen is often called:

“the second brain.”

Within the abdomen lies a complex network of nerves constantly communicating with the brain, breath, hormonal system, and emotional experience.

When we live under prolonged stress or inner pressure, the body often reacts precisely through the abdominal center:

· The belly tightens

· Breathing becomes shallo

· The diaphragm contracts

· Digestion weakens

· The pelvic area loses softness

· And the body gradually loses its sense of ease and safety

Many people today live mostly “in the head” and gradually lose connection with their abdominal center.

The consequences may include:

• Inner restlessness

• Chronic tension

• Fatigue

• Digestive difficulties

• Sleep problems

• Hormonal imbalance

• Reduced vitality

• Intimacy difficulties

• Or the feeling that the body is no longer a safe place to live.

Chi Nei Tsang® and Tok Sen help restore the connection between body, breath, emotions, and inner presence.

When the abdominal center begins to soften:

• Breathing deepens

• The body relaxes

• Emotions flow more easily

• And a person begins to feel themselves again from within.

In Taoism we say:

When the belly is soft, energy can flow. And when energy flows, the body rediscovers its intelligence, regeneration, and inner stability.

BODY, PELVIC CENTER & VITAL ENERGY

In Taoist tradition, the pelvic and abdominal center represents the space of our fundamental life energy.

It is not merely an area of organs. It is a space of vitality, creativity, aliveness, sexual energy, softness, connection with oneself, and the ability to receive life.

When the body lives for a long time in stress, fear, shame, excessive control, or chronic tension, a person often gradually disconnects from their abdomen, pelvis, and sense of life energy.

This may appear as:

•A tense or “hard” belly

• Feeling disconnected from the body

• Intimacy difficulties

• Lack of vitality

• Burnout

• Chronic fatigue

• Feelings of emptiness

• Fertility difficulties

• Painful menstruation

• Pelvic floor tension

• Or the feeling that the body is no longer a safe place.

The body often protects itself by:

• Holding the breath

• Tightening the diaphragm

• Contracting the pelvic area

• Reducing the sense of bodily presence

• Or creating chronic tension.

Yet it is precisely within this area that great regenerative and life force energy is hidden.

Through conscious touch, rhythm, vibration, breath, and work with the energies of the internal organs, Chi Nei Tsang® and Tok Sen support reconnection with one’s body and sense of vitality.

This is not only about relaxing muscles. It is about reawakening the feeling of aliveness within the body.

When the body begins to feel safer:

• Breathing deepens

• The pelvic center softens

• The body becomes more responsive

• And a person begins to feel more warmth, presence, and life energy again.

In Taoism, sexual energy is not understood only as sexuality. It is the fundamental life force, the energy of creation, regeneration, vitality, and inner radiance.

SOMATIC APPROACH

Modern somatics and neuroscience increasingly confirm that the body is not separate from our emotions, memories, and internal reactions.

When the body remains under pressure for a long time, it often becomes trapped in chronic tension, protection, or a sense of overwhelm.

Chi Nei Tsang® and Tok Sen help:

• Improve connection with the body

• Release deep tensions

• Deepen the breath

• Support grounding

• And create conditions in which the body can gradually calm and regulate itself.

Rhythm, safe touch, vibration, and presence create a space where the body begins to feel it can release protective patterns.

We do not force the body. We invite the body back into a sense of safety.

TOK SEN – Chi Nei Tsang® III Healing Harmony

November 27 – 29, 2026

3 days | 9:00 – 17:00

Tok Sen is an ancient vibrational method from Northern Thailand in which rhythm, sound, and vibration communicate with the body.

In practice we use wooden tools that create rhythmic vibrations through:

• Muscles

• Tendons

• Joints

• Deep bodily tensions

• And areas where the body loses mobility and flow.

Tok Sen often helps the body transition from:

• Tension

• Protection

• Inner pressure

• Or a frozen state

Into a state of:

• Relaxation

• Greater ease

• Better connection with the body

• And greater bodily responsiveness.

Sound and rhythm have a powerful effect on relaxing the body and creating a sense of inner calm.

The body begins to respond differently

• Breathing deepens

• Muscles soften

• The body becomes more mobile

• And people often begin to feel more spaciousness and ease within themselves.

Taoist Qigong & Preparation of the Therapist

Each day we will also practice Taoist Qigong.

Because the state of the therapist is part of the therapy itself.

The client’s body senses:

• Whether the therapist breathes

• Whether they are present

• Whether their body is relaxed

• Whether their hands are soft

• And whether they know how to listen to the body without pressure or force.

The quality of therapeutic work is not only in technique, but in the therapist’s ability to create a sense of safety.

Qigong helps:

• Open the breath

• Reduce inner tension

• Improve presence

• Preserve the therapist’s vitality

• And develop a more subtle and conscious touc

When therapists deepen connection with their own bodies, they can more safely support others.

THE THERAPIST AS AN ETERNAL STUDEN

In this program we do not only learn techniques.

We learn:

• To listen to the body

• To develop therapeutic presence

• To observe bodily reactions

• And to remain open to personal growth.

A good therapist remains a student throughout life.

As the therapist grows:

• The quality of touch grows

• The ability to listen grows

• Understanding of the body grows

• And the ability to create a safe space for others grow

Clients are not passive receivers of therapy.

We teach them:

• How to listen to their body

• How to breathe

• How to recognize tension

• How to participate in their own process

• And how to gradually develop greater connection with themselves

Therapy becomes a relationship of cooperation, presence, and mutual growth.
